Gearbox releases standalone version of Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina – Gaming – News

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep appears as a standalone short game. That costs ten euros for consoles and on Steam and can be claimed for free in the Epic Games Store this week. Originally it is a DLC that came out in 2013 for Borderlands 2.

The standalone version is called Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure. According to Gearbox, the expansion is popular with fans and has been rated by critics as Borderlands 2’s best DLC. Assault on Dragon Keep tells the introductory story of character Tiny Tina, who takes on the role of Bunker Master in the so-called game Bunkers and Badasses. . Players can join her in a fantasy world with castles, dungeons and magical forests.

According to Randy Pitchford, co-founder of Gearbox and producer of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, the DLC is “one of the most important pieces of content” the studio has ever created. According to Pitchford, the studio introduced a new genre to Borderlands games, with new gameplay and a new method of storytelling.

The standalone version of Dragon Keep is available for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. The console versions also work on the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony, but are not specifically designed for that. The PC version can be claimed for free on the Epic Games Store through November 16. The game is also on Steam, but costs ten euros there, just like the console versions.

Tiny Tina Wonderlands will be released on March 25, 2022

Main character Tiny Tina will also get her own game; that’s Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a title that will be released on March 25, 2022. By releasing the old DLC separately, the makers probably want to draw attention to that new game, which was announced earlier. The new game is coming to consoles and PC. The PC version will be available exclusively on the Epic Games Store for a limited time.
