Geagea Emerges as Strongest Christian Leader in Lebanon: Political Writer Joseph Abu Fadil

Journalist and political writer Joseph Abu Fadil confirmed that “Geagea “has become all over me after the elections,” and he is the strongest in the Christian arena.

In an interview with Al-Jadeed, he pointed out that “the statement of the Arab summit on separating the resistance from terrorism” does not emerge from Haret Hreik, “and there is a certain reality on which everyone must act.”

He pointed out that “Hezbollah no longer trusts Gebran Bassil or Michel Aoun, and after the Arab summit and the Iranian-Saudi reconciliation, Gebran needs the party more.”

Abu Fadil considered that “the team that nominated Minister Suleiman Franjieh does not have a plan B.”

He asked, “Who is the president who can solve the problem of the displaced and the maritime borders with Syria?”

The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, reassured, saying: “Suleiman Franjieh does not have a son-in-law.”

Abu Fadil stressed that “Saudi Arabia did not abandon its allies in Lebanon, but the priority of the Yemen file,” adding, “Silence is sometimes the position, and Franjieh’s visit to Bukhari indicates that” the situation is good.

And he believed that “the army commander is an arranged figure, but” I am not with him. I am with Suleiman Franjieh for the presidency of the republic.”

Abu Fadel concluded by saying, “The governor of the Banque du Liban, who is terrified, and I cannot bear to see an oppressed person and watch him.”
