GDRFA Hatta Border Customer Happiness Center Awarded Six Star Status by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

Dubai: The Customer Happiness Center of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) at Hatta Border has been awarded Six Star status. UAE aims to provide the best services to travelers. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, was honored with the title. GDRFA Chief Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmad Al Marri received the honor from Sheikh Mohammed. Sheikh Mohammed also congratulated other senior officials of the department.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, also attended the event. Al Marri said the title would further motivate the department to further expand its services.

The six star status was given as part of the Dubai Government’s Global Star Rating Program with the aim of providing services at international standards and bringing happiness to the customers. Last year, Hatta border achieved a historic achievement in the number of passengers. For the first time in history, more than 400,000 passengers entered and left the country through the Hatta border. Along with this, GDRFA at Dubai International Airport. The customer happiness center has also received a five star rating. The Global Star Rating project was started with the realization that happiness is the basic condition of society. The main aim is to make government services better, creative and innovative.
