The specialized police operation to counter the production and distribution of narcotic substances was carried out by GDBOP teams.
As part of the investigation, with the help of service dogs, eight addresses were searched on the territory of Sliven, as well as in the village of k. Sunny Beach, where, according to the data, the established criminal organization distributed part of the narcotics.
At one of the addresses, the anti-mafia discovered a “home-type” laboratory for the production of methamphetamine, located in the basement of the residence.
From there, 477 g of crystal methamphetamine, 123 g of cocaine, 37 g of pico, control scales, numerous precursors and a large amount of vessels and tools necessary for the production of the substances were seized. Also seized: an illegally owned firearm; mobile phones and numerous items relevant to the investigation.
Five participants in the criminal scheme have been detained.
Three of them were charged under Article 354a para. 1 of the Criminal Code and their detention measure was extended to 72 hours. Witnesses have been interviewed in the case, and work on documenting the case continues.
