Muscat: The GCC will provide $100 million in emergency aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza. This was announced at a press conference held as part of the 43rd Extraordinary Session of the GCC Ministerial Committee held in Muscat to discuss the Gaza crisis.
The GCC will focus on warning against attempts to displace Palestinians from their land, protecting civilians, freeing prisoners, and providing international protection to the Palestinian people. The ministerial committee demanded an end to the inhumane blockade. Delivery of medicines and humanitarian aid should be allowed. Military operations and violence against Palestinians in Gaza must end. The GCC will continue its efforts with relevant regional parties against Israeli action.
The ministerial committee demanded that all parties abide by international law and release hostages and innocent prisoners, including women, children, the sick and the elderly.
