– The demand for an increase in the contract price included in Gazprom’s tender offer is completely unfounded. We are prepared to prove it before the Arbitration Tribunal – says Paweł Majewski, President of the Management Board of PGNiG SA in the announcement.

The submission of a call for arbitration by Gazprom initiates the dispute settlement procedure specified in the Yamal contract. “PGNiG is taking appropriate steps in this matter to assert its rights and protect the company’s interests,” reads the release.
