Russian singer Olegs Gazmanovs bought an apartment in Jurmala a long time ago. The singer used to say that he likes to spend time in Latvia but now he regrets the purchase.
“I acted stupid by buying this unfortunate apartment. Now I don’t know what to do with it. I bought it for Marina (wife) as a gift. She says:” Why? “Everything went well,” Gazmanov told Russian media.
According to estimates by real estate agents, the property cost him 500,000 euros. But after that, Gazmanov could not sell it due to a sharp drop in prices. “Now it has become three times cheaper. And even for this money, nobody wants to look at it,” said the artist, who has been banned from entering Latvia for eight years.
Oleg Gazmanov continues to pay property tax. “I pay money for this. Shared apartment and taxes. But I’m not going. The only thing that worries me now is that a sealed bottle of 1951 Armagnac was left in the kitchen. The year of my birth,” said the singer, who supports the Putin mode.
