The spokesperson of the Gaza Ministry of Health informed the media that over 500 people have died in the Israeli bombing of the Al-Ahli Arabi Baptist hospital, located in the center of Gaza city. The spokesperson for Gaza’s civil defense had already declared on the pan-Arab al-Jazeera TV that “more than 300 martyrs were killed in the bombing of the hospital”.
Al-Jazeera documented that most of the victims were women and children.
The spokesperson added that no treatment could be given to the wounded and that “the massacre is great”, underlining that there is no safe place in the Strip from the indiscriminate bombings of the Israelis.
The head of the Gaza government’s press office said Israel had committed a further war crime by bombing the courtyard of Al-Ahli hospital.
UNRWA, the UN body for Palestinian refugees, announced that at least six people were killed in an Israeli attack on its school in the Maghazi refugee camp, also in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health has announced that over 3 thousand deaths have been caused by Israeli attacks.
