FOCUS – Since the announcement at the end of April 2021 of the payment of 5 million euros in dividends to the shareholders of Gaz Électricité de Grenoble (GEG), the anger of employees has not abated. After another aborted meeting with the management, Thursday, May 27, the strikers decided to set up a barrier to filter access to the site.
“We are on a pattern of social injustice where we do not reward employees and shareholders at the same level”, denounces Laurent Moyet. The Force Ouvrière (FO) union delegate does not take offense. Like him, around twenty employees of Gaz Électricité de Grenoble (GEG) have been holding a filter dam at the entrance to the site since Thursday, May 27 at 10 a.m.
The CGT truck thus bars the entrance to the premises located at the intersection of Pierre-Sémard and Félix-Esclangon streets to block deliveries and slow down activity on the site. A way for striking employees to put pressure on management.
