Mexico City. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that in Guanajuato the issue of the murder of the candidate of the We Will Continue Making History alliance must be addressed “because everything is totally out of control.” He asserted that it is very regrettable what has been happening in that entity for years, which has ranked first in homicides in the country.
However, when condemning the coverage given to the situation in that entity, he said that the traditional media does not handle this type of information much. He gave as an example the dissemination that he has given to the report of homicides that have been registered since last weekend, in which Guanajuato concentrates between 12 and 22 percent of the daily homicide reports.
He considered that in reality behind the handling of violence in the country and the violence in Guanajuato there is manipulation derived from the interests of the media that have ramifications in other areas where they obtain contracts.
He pointed out that in Guanajuato, the state prosecutor does not attend the daily security meetings in that entity.
In this context, he alluded to the campaign against him to associate him with drug trafficking, which is something similar to what the media does to keep the authorities against the wall: “Who can stand 200 million mentions of a drug president? But in Mexico we have a great town. Always grateful.
“Today this morning I was making, these associations that drive the automation of lies, it is not easy to understand, how there are robots, it is not real that they put something on social networks and it turns out that a machine reproduces it by the millions.
