AHMEDABAD: Jeet Adani, son of industrialist and Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani, got engaged to Diva Jaymin Shah on Sunday. A simple ceremony was held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Only close friends and family attended. Diva is the daughter of diamond merchant Jaiminsha.
Details of the ceremony have not been released. Only one picture of Jeet and Diva together has been released. Both of them are wearing traditional clothes. The picture shows Jeet in a kurta and jacket and Diva in a lehenga.
Jeet, who completed his studies in Engineering and Applied Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania in the US, later joined the Adani Group in 2019. He is currently the Vice President of Adani Finance Group. Jeet was initially appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Adani Group. According to the Adani Group website, Jeet also oversees the Adani Airport business and Adani Digital Labs. Adani Digital Lab is preparing to build an app targeting all customers of Adani Business Group.
Adani Group had repaid Rs 21,720 crore of debt to recover from the collapse of trust following the Hidenburg report. The loan was repaid against the shares of the listed companies of the group. Meanwhile, the news of his son’s engagement comes.
