The Saxon State Center for Political Education celebrates its 30th birthday on Monday. The anniversary event will be broadcast via livestream. In addition to Director Roland Löffler, Justice Minister Katja Meier and former Federal President Joachim Gauck are also there.
A lecture and a panel discussion are planned. The main focus is on the future of political education with a view to digitization and structural change.
The regional headquarters was founded in 1991. Since then she has organized more than 9,000 events – from lectures to readings, excursions and educational trips to web talks.
