The strike call launched by several unions this Thursday, September 17 resulted in small demonstrations in several towns in the region.

AT Dijon, according to the police, they were 400 marching in the streets this Thursday, September 17 at the call of the CGT, the FSU and Solidaires against job cuts and for wage increases, at a time of increasing restructuring and social plans. AT Chalon-sur-Saone, a hundred people, including a dozen “yellow vests” were gathered, according to the police. The organizers have given up on parade and preferred to limit themselves to speaking.

AT Auxerre, the police counted 170 demonstrators, including 9 “yellow vests”. The procession left at 2 p.m. from the Place de l’Arquebuse, strolled to the sub-prefecture where a delegation was received. The demonstrators calmly dispersed around 4 p.m.

Gatherings also took place in other towns in Burgundy, such as Nevers or Montceau-les-Mines. With there also a small number of demonstrators.
