“Gathering Famous Gymnasts from Across China: The 2023 National Gymnastics Championships Begin in Jinan”

The National Gymnastics Championship is the highest-level and highest-standard gymnastics event in the country. It is a selection competition for major international competitions such as the World Gymnastics Championships, Asian Games, and Universiade. The competition lasted for 8 days, and a total of about 600 athletes, coaches and referees from 21 provinces and cities across the country participated. Among the many participating athletes, there are many world champions and Olympic champions such as Zou Jingyuan, Liu Yang, Xiao Ruoteng, Zhang Boheng, Wei Xiaoyuan, etc. At that time, they will enjoy the fashion and passion of gymnastics with the audience, and appreciate the vitality and charm of Jinan, the spring city.

Liu Yang, the champion of the Tokyo Olympic Games and member of the Liaoning gymnastics team, is in the ring competition.

The Shandong Gymnastics Team sent a 19-man lineup of old and new to participate in the competition. The men’s team was led by National Games champion Su Weide and the 2022 championship champion Ge Shihao. The women’s team had 7 athletes including Yang Jingxi and Tan Yuhan.

According to the schedule, the first two competition days will be team and individual qualifying competitions, the third and fourth competition days will be men’s team finals and women’s team finals, the fifth and sixth competition days will be men’s and women’s individual all-around finals, and the last two competition days will be men’s and women’s team finals. There will be individual finals on the first match day.
