Filming for the fourth season of the Stranger Things series has been suspended since March due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The technically unemployed actor Gaten Matarazzo found a summer job in a restaurant on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, so as not to twiddle his thumbs.
The spokesperson for the 17-year-old actor confirmed this information to the Hollywood Reporter. Gaten Matarazzo works with family members at this restaurant where he was spotted by fans while wearing a protective mask and cap.
The show, which premiered for the online streaming platform Netflix in 2016, was watched by 64 million people in the first four weeks after the third season was released in July 2019.
Before the pandemic and Hollywood producers ceased operations in March, the show’s fourth season was due to air later this year. A release date that will undoubtedly be postponed.
