Gata claims the blue door that triumphs on Instagram

Geographically it belongs to Xàbia. But sentimentally it belongs to Gata. The blue door that triumphs on Instagram, that of one of the fishermen’s houses on the Portitxol beach or the Barraca de Xàbia, animates the party. A group from Gata’s parties has recreated it in her barracks. She has placed a sign that appeals to that special attachment that the neighbors feel for this corner of the Xabien coast. “El grau de Gata” says the sign. The door, simple, an expression of humble and village architecture, gives a lot of itself.
