Gastronomy – A new era begins for the “LifeBar” in Wieselburg

MIchael Elsner and Magdalena Zöchbauer from Pöchlarn now run the “Life Bar” in Wieselburg.

The “Life Bar” has been part of the gastronomic scene in Wieselburg for 14 years. Now the operator changed. On September 1st, Charly Draxler, who also owns the cult bar “Pulverfass” in the Ybbs Bermuda Triangle and the “Guinness Island” pub in Purgstall, handed over the “Life Bar” to his nephew Michael Elsner and his partner Magdalena Zöchbauer. Last year The grand opening party took place on Friday evening.

Michael Elsner (26) and Magdalena Zöchbauer (20), who currently live in Pöchlarn, both worked at RS Gastro GmbH, which runs the Rathauskeller and the Wachauer Hof in Melk as well as the restaurant at the Schallaburg. Now the step into independence followed.

“Of course we are a little nervous, but we are both really looking forward to this challenge,” says Elsner, who primarily wants to attract wine lovers. His partner Magdalena Zöchbauer, on the other hand, is responsible for the cocktails in the “Life Bar”. -ce-
