Gastón Rodríguez to Perform Live at Cultural Event in Uruguay’s Capital – Free Admission!

It will consist of a popular Uruguayan music performance by Gastón Rodríguez. It will take place at 8 pm this Saturday, May 11, in that cultural place of the capital of the province that is in the streets of Rafael Pérez del Puerto and Roman Guerra.

The General Directorate of Culture of the IDM invites you to enjoy this proposal, which can be accessed free of charge.

The artist

Rodríguez is a Uruguayan singer-songwriter, guitarist and teacher. He composed music for theater and various soundtracks for state institutions, international organizations, advertising and public distribution campaigns.

He also hosted the programs “Al Sur del Sueño” and “El Margen Sonoro” on Radio Uruguay Online. His work has been awarded nationally and internationally: “National Music Award”, “Ibermúsicas Song Creator”, Graffiti Award 2023 for the “Macu Ta Cantado” Project and “Public Award” at the Clips Festival in Barcelona .

His discography includes: Your breath (Ibermúsicas, AYUI), That habit of wanting (AYUI), Collection – Spartacus Playing Cards (AYUI), Surnacimientos, 30 years of Uruguayan music (The Singer-Song Series), Features of Montevidean (with Walter Bordoni, AYUI) and seagulls of fire (AYUI). He is currently recording vulnerable creatures.
