gasps when you learn Svetlana’s fate from the “First trolleybus”

Irina Gubanova faced problems both in her career and in her family.

Fans of Irina Gubanova considered her one of the most beautiful and sophisticated actresses of Soviet cinema. But the directors didn’t seem to notice her purity and intelligence in her, so instead of her lead roles, she had episodes. It was the appearance of Irina that was the reason for this neglect: the aristocratic and non-Soviet beauty of the actress did not fit into the ideology of the films of that time. The exception was the central character of Svetlana from the film “The First Trolleybus” directed in 1963.

He embodied both dramatic and comic images equally well. But, despite Gubanova’s talent, after the 1970s, her career began to decline. She found herself in the voice acting of foreign cartoons and films, giving voice to the heroes and heroines of numerous projects.

And his personal life was marked by evil rock. In the 1950s, Irina married Sergei Gurzo, giving birth to her daughter Anya. The marriage did not last long: Gubanova could not bear her husband’s addiction to alcoholic beverages. Subsequently, she began living with her second husband, the art critic Alexander Arshansky. However, Anya couldn’t get along with her stepfather and was offended by her mother for not saving her family. In adulthood, after a series of nervous breakdowns, the girl developed a mental illness. Anna’s condition only worsened after the death of her father in 1974 – Gurzo was only 47 years old.

Gubanova took care of her daughter, helped her undergo rehabilitation in clinics. Anna, as her father, only lived to the age of 47.
