What did Oleg Pavlovich mean when he said these words? The artistic director was impressed by the dimensions of Galkina, because her height is 174 centimeters. In addition, the actress was not at all skinny. Tabakov did not want to offend Julia, but rather admired her portly figure.
Thanks to her appearance, Galkina began to receive the roles of “real Russian women.” Soon she began to actively act in films. And after the release of the picture “Kiss of the Fallen Angels” there were dramatic changes – Julia decided to remove those extra pounds.
The fact is that in this film, Galkina and Evgeny Sidikhin had several explicit scenes. Seeing herself on the screen, the actress was horrified. It was not diets and sports that helped her lose weight, but marriage and the birth of a son. A happy family life has transformed Galkina beyond recognition, and since then she has received a variety of roles. The actress spoke about this in the program “The Fate of a Man”.
