Gasoline prices are going up. This week, a liter of 95-octane gasoline costs an average of PLN 7.95. According to the data contained in the EU bulletin, the prices of EU95 petrol in Poland have increased the most since Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Currently, 95-octane gasoline costs an average of PLN 7.95 / liter, the e-petrol portal informed on Wednesday. According to analysts, 95 petrol is the cheapest in the Łódzkie and Śląskie voivodships, where a liter of it costs an average of PLN 7.91. The most expensive is in Podkarpacie – PLN 7.99 per liter of this fuel.

From the data contained in the newsletter European Union shows that 95-octane gasoline in Poland from February 21 this year, just before the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, by May 30 it went up by more than 37 percent. This is the largest increase among the countries of the Community. In Bulgaria at the time gasoline prices increased by 24%, and in Austria – by 23 percent The top five is completed by the Czech Republic – 22 percent. and Germany – 21 percent.

On the other hand, 1000 liters of 95 petrol cheaper than in Poland can be bought only in four EU countries. According to data from May 30, one thousand liters of 95 petrol in our country cost EUR 1634. It is cheaper to refuel in Hungary, where 1000 liters costs around EUR 1241. In this country, prices are limited. We will also pay less than in Poland in Malta – EUR 1,340, in Slovenia – EUR 1,560 and in Bulgaria – almost EUR 1,595.
