Korea National Oil Corporation (President Kim Dong-seop), through the weekly price trend of domestic petroleum products of Opinet, an oil price information system, found that the price of gasoline sold at gas stations in the 5th week of March decreased by 2.8 won from the previous week to 1,593.6 won, showing that diesel price decreased by 12.6 won for two consecutive weeks. It showed 1,521.8 won and fell for 19 consecutive weeks.

Indoor kerosene was 1,413.3 won, down 8.8 won.

By brand, thrifty gas station sales prices were low, while GS Caltex brand gas stations were high.

The average selling price of gasoline at thrifty gas stations was the lowest at 1,564.9 won per liter, but GS Caltex branded gas stations recorded 1,601.8 won, showing a difference of 36.1 won.

The average selling price of diesel at thrifty gas stations was low at 1,492.2 won per liter, but at GS Caltex gas stations it was high at 1,532.6 won, showing a difference of 43.4 won.

At SK Energy brand gas stations, gasoline was 1,599.1 won, down 3.2 won, and diesel was 1,529.7 won, down 12.5 won. At Hyundai Oilbank brand gas stations, gasoline was 1,595.9 won, down 2.6 won, and diesel was 1,523.3 won, down 12.0 won.

At S-OIL brand gas stations, gasoline prices decreased by 2.4 won to 1,593.8 won, and diesel prices decreased by 12.7 won to 1,516.6 won. .

Gasoline sales price by region was KRW 1,670.5 in Seoul, the most expensive region, down by KRW 5.9 from the previous week, which was KRW 76.9 higher than the national average.

The price of gasoline in Jeju is 1,642 won, which is the second highest in the country after Seoul. , Gyeongnam 1,582 won, Jeonbuk and Busan 1,580 won, Gyeongbuk 1,579 won, Ulsan 1,568 won.

Gasoline selling prices in Daegu, the lowest-priced region, were 1,566.6 won, down 2.7 won from the previous week, 27.0 won lower than the national average.

In the fourth week of March, which is one week later than the selling price at gas stations, the supply price for each petroleum product at refineries was 1,528.2 won for gasoline, down 12.2 won from the previous week, 1,405.9 won for diesel, down 20.1 won from the previous week, and indoor kerosene at 1,067.7 won, down 29.1 won from the previous week. .

As for supply prices by refinery, S-OIL (CEO Hussain Al-Qahtani), the highest-priced oil refiner, recorded 1,542.5 won for gasoline, a 12.5 won drop from the previous week, and 1,414.9 won for diesel, a 13.1 won drop from the previous week.

SK Energy (CEO Cho Kyung-mok) followed by 1,537.1 won, down 2.2 won for gasoline, 1,413.0 won for diesel, down 18.2 won, Hyundai Oilbank (CEO Young-min Joo), 1,531.6 won for gasoline, down 3.2 won, and 1,412.6 won for diesel, down 13.4 won. .

GS Caltex (CEO Heo Se-hong), the lowest-priced oil company, recorded KRW 1,500.5 for gasoline, down 26.8 won from the previous week, and KRW 1,381.4 for diesel, down 34.1 won from the previous week.

Meanwhile, international oil prices increased in the 5th week of March due to the decrease in US commercial crude oil inventory, the depreciation of the US dollar, and disruptions in Kurdish crude oil production in northern Iraq.
