Oil prices rose on Tuesday after a sharp drop in Wednesday. Shortly before 5:00 PM CET, Brent North Sea crude rose 0.6 percent to $ 40.03 a barrel. At the same time, the US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) light oil gained 1.4 percent to $ 37.27 per barrel.

“In the short term, the fundamentals of the oil market appear weak. The recovery in demand is fragile, while reserves and reserve production capacity are high, ”said Morgan Stanley. However, she predicted that the price of Brent would climb to $ 50 a barrel next year due to higher inflation and a weaker dollar.
