Fuels in price are followed by oil, the price of which on world markets has risen by tens of percent since the beginning of the year. According to analysts, the more significant increase in diesel than in petrol is due to the sharp rise in the price of natural gas, which is associated with higher demand for heating oil.

A year ago, a liter of Natural cost an average of 28 crowns, ie CZK 8.59 less. There is a similar difference between this year’s and last year’s diesel prices, last year diesel in the last week of October averaged CZK 27.19 / l.

The cheapest petrol is currently refueled by drivers in the Ústí nad Labem region, where a liter is on average CZK 36.22. Diesel is the cheapest in the Zlín Region, they sell a liter there for an average of CZK 35.24. On the other hand, the most expensive fuels are offered by pumps in Prague, where a liter of petrol costs an average of CZK 37.26. Diesel is refueled there for CZK 36.11 per liter.
