“At the moment I have no idea”, Pierre Gasly explains to Formula One. “That’s something we’re going to talk about with Red Bull and especially with Helmut Marko of course. I don’t know what he wants at the moment, whether he might want to take me back (at Red Bull, ed.), whether he wants me at AlphaTauri wants to keep or that he might be willing to let me go to another team.”
The Frenchman indicates that if the latter is the case, he probably doesn’t have to be short of work: “There is interest from other teams. At the moment, however, I am doing my very best to show my true potential, but of course also for AlphaTauri. I think we are doing very well at the moment and I hope that at the end of the season we can achieve the best team classification ever. That is my personal goal.”
“We will also see what the most interesting options are with a view to the future. Ultimately, the ball is with Red Bull and we just have to discuss carefully what we want to do together in the future,” concludes the man who currently occupies eighth place in the World Cup.
