– As far as gas is concerned, Poland is not in the worst situation. Deliveries from Russia only ended in April, and there are still stocks. In addition, PGNiG has announced the conclusion of new contracts for supplies and it is worth following this – admitted Dr. Szymon Kardaś, analyst at the Center for Eastern Studies in the “WP Newsroom” program. – If we look at the problem in the entire EU and the replacement of gas from Russia, the situation looks serious here. We are talking about volumes of the order of 145-155 billion six. gas, and the availability of the raw material on the LNG market is limited. There, not only Europe is fighting for gas, but also Asia. Deliveries from other countries such as Algeria are also possible, but these are not significant amounts. Accordingly, there will be a problem. The Russians are aware of this. But they calculate. If they want to use this energy card on a larger scale and arrange crises for us, they may lose. If Europe stays on the diversification course for 3-4 years, the Russians will have a bigger problem than Europe. The harder it is to find new markets. In the short term, however, they can spoil our blood.
