Secretary of the Gas Distributors Syndicate, Jean Hatem, reassured that the material is available and there is no need for citizens to rush.
Hatem said in an interview with MTV: “The tanks of importing companies are full,” and there is a ship that will unload its cargo of 5,000 tons at the end of this week. More than 6 ships of gas enter Lebanon every month, which is sufficient to meet local demand,” stressing that there will be no interruption to the gas supply unless a naval blockade occurs.
He revealed that a meeting was held for the entire fuel sector to develop an emergency plan in this regard.
