In Ukraine, from June 1, 2021, new gas tariffs have been introduced. The cost of a cubic meter, depending on the supplier, reaches UAH 11.89. The minimum cost is 7.99 UAH per cubic meter.
This is reported by the edition GazPravda… Suppliers of Ye Energia LLC, MEGAWATT ENERGY SERVICE COMPANY LLC, TAS ENERGY COUNTRY LLC summer and monthly prices are the same and equal, respectively, 7.99, 8.09 and 11.22 UAH per cubic meter.
In most companies, the monthly price for June 2021 is lower than the annual offer. For example, in the “Chernivtsi Regional Power Supply Company” the difference reaches UAH 5 per cubic meter (UAH 8.50 in June against UAH 13.50 – the annual price).
However, several suppliers – LLC “ZAKARPAT’E ENERGOSBYT”, LLC “GAZPROMPOSTACH”, LLC “GLASKOMERTS” – on the contrary, the summer offer is more profitable.
The company “KievGazEnerdzhi”, whose website stopped working a month ago, has not yet published its summer offer and the monthly gas price for June. Due to this violation, the company is awaiting verification and sanctions from the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities.
New quotes from the supplier of last resort (PON) are also unknown. As a reminder, under the terms of the basic annual tariff plans, gas prices within 12 months can only change downward. From May 1, it is the summer offers that are valid as basic. All consumers who previously used monthly offers were automatically transferred by suppliers to annual tariffs.
As reported OBOZREVATEL, in Ukraine debtors on communal apartments will be fined by 20-50%, at the same time, they will be prohibited from traveling abroad.
Such innovations will reduce the number of those Ukrainians who can pay their bills, but do not. This is stated in the bill №3613, which was included in the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada. The profile committee recommends the adoption of the specified document.
