Belgrade and Moscow are currently negotiating a new long-term gas contract. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressed his opinion on the price of blue fuel offered by Gazprom.
“For the first time, I will say what the Russians offered us. I said that we cannot pay for this. The Russians said that the price should be calculated at 70% according to the exchange value and 30% according to the oil formula, that is, $ 790 instead of $ 270. that we are now paying 100% on the oil formula, ” – said Vucic on the air of TV Prva.
In turn, Serbia proposes to calculate the price by 70% according to the oil formula and 30% according to the exchange value.
Thus, the gas price will be $ 510. According to Vucic, his country will not be able to pay at this price.
The Serbian leader noted that he will ask to keep the price of the oil formula at least until the end of the heating season and hopes that the meeting with Vladimir Putin, scheduled for November 25, will help resolve this issue.
