Naftogaz recalled that from February 1, 2021, Ukraine set a boundary price for gas at UAH 6.99 per cubic meter. The validity period of the price ends on March 31 of the current year, and starting from April 1 the gas price will be formed on market principles.
At the same time, the company predicts that after the transition to market prices, suppliers’ price proposals will differ significantly from today’s.
“The suppliers’ prices, taking into account the six-month experience of the free gas market, will differ significantly. In December, for example, Naftogaz Ukrainy offered its customers up to 40% more favorable prices,” the statement says.
At the same time, Naftogaz noted that to date, almost 300 thousand subsidies have changed the gas supplier to Naftogaz and other Ukrainians who want to receive quality services at favorable prices are urged not to delay the paperwork.
