DRIEZUM – During work in a shed on the Van Sytzamawei in Driezum, a gas leak occurred on Saturday afternoon. A hole was made in the floor with a saw, but there was still a gas pipe just below this floor. After the leak had started, the resident threw sand over the leak.
Subsequently, Stedin was informed of the leak. The fire service was also called as a precaution. The fire brigade took measurements and remained on site as a precaution until the technician arrived. This engineer will seal the pipe.
