Baden-Baden (dpa / lsw) – Because of a gas leak, there was a large-scale operation by the fire brigade in Baden-Baden. According to the city, construction workers damaged a gas line in a vacant old people’s home in the city center on Tuesday evening, prompting neighboring buildings to be evacuated. Since there was a risk of explosion, the area was largely closed to traffic. 90 emergency services were on site. After the gas leak could be stopped, the building was vented. The roadblocks were lifted just after 11 p.m. According to the police, ten people had to leave their homes in the meantime.
