The accumulation of gas in a house in the City of Oneida in Madison County, northern New York, caused a strong explosion.
The events occurred last Saturday, September 9, in a house on West Elm Street.
According to police information, around 3:00 in the morning a young man driving a 2012 Toyota truck reported stolen crashed into the house.
Emergency services and police authorities arrived at the scene and arrested the driver and alleged perpetrator.
Hours after the crash, when firefighters and police were still at the scene, the house exploded due to the accumulation of gas resulting from damage caused to a pipe.
The events were captured by the body camera of one of the elements.
Despite the spectacular nature of the accident, no injuries were reported.
The detained subject only had a minor injury to his arm.
