Antalya –
Indonesia managed to lead 3-0 in the first half against Myanmar in a test match ahead of the AFF Cup next month. The Garuda squad appeared dominant and controlled the game.
Playing at the Gloria Sports Arena, Thursday (11/25/2021), Indonesia had already opened the scoring in the 4th minute. Ricky Kambuaya’s cross from Ezra Walian was met with a header that Myanmar goalkeeper Pyae Phyo Ayng couldn’t save.
Indonesia managed to increase the advantage in the 12th minute. Through a counter-attack, Alfeandra Dewangga obediently released a breakthrough bait to Irfan Jaya. The PSS Sleman player calmly finished it off with a low shot that successfully tricked Pyae Phyo Ayng.
Myanmar tried to get up, trying to have the ball more. But their goal actually broke again in the 33rd minute. Through an attack from the left side, Witan Sulaeman managed to score Indonesia’s third goal through a horizontal shot into the middle of the goal.
Myanmar was not discouraged despite being left behind by three goals. In the 35th minute, Mg Mg Win fired a dangerous hard shot in the Indonesian penalty box, but his direction went wide on the left side of the goal.
The score of 3-0 closed the first half.
