General Manager (GM) of Adi Soemarmo Airport Yani Ajat Hermawan said, Batik Air with flight number ID 6362 for Cengkareng-Semarang and Garuda Indonesia with flight number GA 232 for Cengkareng-Semarang.
“Today Adi Soemarmo Airport received two flight diversions from Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang,” said Yani Ajat Hermawan in Boyolali, Saturday (30/1).
According to him, Batik Air landed at Adi Soemarmo Airport at 08.55 WIB carrying 78 passengers.
Meanwhile, Garuda Indonesia landed at 09.21 WIB carrying 35 passengers.
According to him, currently the passengers are in good condition and are still waiting on the plane.
“Both Batik Air passengers and Garuda Indonesia passengers are still waiting on the plane and waiting for the good weather at Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang. The condition of the diverted aircraft landing safely at Adi Soemarmo Airport,” he said.
Meanwhile, his party also continues to monitor the effect of volcanic ash rain from Merapi by using the observation method which is carried out every two hours.
