Garry Thomas Lyle (born October 20, 1945 in New Martinsville, West Virginia) is a former American football player at the safety position. He played his entire professional career for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL).

Lyle went to high school in Verona, Pennsylvania. He later attended George Washington University in Washington DC. He is still the last player from this university to be selected in an NFL draft.[1]
Lyle was selected in the third round, 63rd overall, by the Chicago Bears. He stayed here until 1974 and ended his professional career there.
His son Keith Lyle also played safety in the NFL.[2]
