Garry Conille travels to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly

Prime Minister Garry Conille left the country last Friday, September 20, 2024, to participate in the 79th ordinary session of the United Nations General Assembly which will be held in New York in the United States. This is the Prime Minister’s second official visit since he came to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Port-au-Prince, September 20, 2024 – The Head of Government will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including among others his chief of staff Nesmy Manigat; Foreign Minister, Dominique Dupuy; and Trade Minister James Monazard.

The Prime Minister must talk to actors from the international community about the urgent challenges facing Haiti, especially in terms of security, political stability and sustainable development.

During this Assembly, Dr. Garry Conille must present the various projects that his government has already launched, especially regarding the restoration of peace and order in the country.

According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, when Dr. Garry Conille, Minister of Economy and Finance, Ketleen Florestal is not working as Prime Minister, as Acting Prime Minister and Françoise Suzan will be the Minister of Internal Finance and Interim Community Land.
