According to the German site WinFuture, Garmin was working on this Vivosmart 5. The device would be able to measure many metrics, such as sleep or even sPO2.
Garmin seems to be preparing a new connected bracelet, the Vivosmart 5. This is in any case what suggests a series of images of the future bracelet, published on the very reliable site Winfuture.
The first advantage of such a product is that it brings the Garmin brand to a slightly more accessible price level. The manufacturer’s watches are, for the most part, very high-end products. If you are a fan of the brand, but its products are a little far from your budget, this is already a potential good point.
A large OLED screen
The first difference that is obvious from the previous model is the size of its Oled screen. The latter would indeed be 66% larger. Here too, the advantage seems obvious: a larger screen means better readability, but also greater maneuverability.

As a result, the very elongated design of the previous watch would be replaced by a more generous shape.
Among the features hinted at by the images of WinFuturewe see a sleep report, absent from the previous model.
The watch would offer up to seven days of autonomy and would be completely waterproof. The sPO2 would also be measured, as well as the classic monitoring of the heart rate. We can also mention the monitoring of stress or even hydration, the calorie counter or the pedometer.
Three colors and an alert when needed
The German site also mentions position tracking features if connected to a smartphone, with the possibility of sending an emergency notification if necessary.
