Garmin just launched five smartwatch new in the second generation MARQ line. This luxury smart watch is priced at a fantastic price, starting from IDR 32 million.
The five variants are Garmin MARQ Athlete, MARQ Adventurer, MARQ Golfer, MARQ Captain and MARQ Aviator. Each watch has a unique feature as its name suggests.
Even so, in terms of specifications, the Garmin MARQ series have the same innards. This luxury watch is made of Grade-5 titanium material, an AMOLED touch screen with a sapphire dome lens coating, and a battery that lasts up to 16 days.
“Titanium Grade-5 is five times stronger than ordinary steel. It is rust resistant, heat resistant, corrosion resistant and scratch resistant,” said Garmin Indonesia Marketing Communication Manager Chandrawidhi Desideriani at the launch of the Garmin MARQ Collection in Jakarta, Thursday (16/ 2/2023).
In addition there are also typical Garmin fitness features such as breath and stress tracking, Body Battery. Don’t miss Multi-Band GNSS support, multi-frequency GPS, and Garmin SatIQ.
The Garmin MARQ collection also features a new feature, namely Jet Lag Adviser. This feature is designed for users who frequently travel abroad, and can use sleep history data and other metrics to recommend light exposure, sleep schedules, and exercise to reduce jet lag.
So, what are the differences between the five Garmin MARQ variants? MARQ Athlete is designed for athletes and sports enthusiasts with a series of features such as Training Readiness, PacePro, and sports tracking support such as running, cycling, swimming, skiing, golf, yoga, and Pilates.
MARQ Adventurer is designed for outdoor adventurers and includes features such as a bezel with compass, Orienteering for navigation, TopoActive maps, and NextFork. Meanwhile, MARQ Golfer supports 42,000 golf courses worldwide, and is equipped with special features such as Green Contours, Virtual Caddy, Hazard View, WindData, and others.
Furthermore, MARQ Captain is designed for water activity enthusiasts such as kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, and others and is equipped with features such as Regatta Timer, Alerts, and Alarm. Finally, the MARQ Aviator designed for pilots and aviation enthusiasts with access to the NEXRAD, METAR, TAF and MOS1 radars.
