Garmin launches Instinct Crossover Hybrid watch, with robust design, longer autonomy

Garmin continues his releases of robust and premium watches, this time with one oriented to long hikes and an active life in the wild. This is the Garmin Instinct Crossover, a hybrid smartwatch available in 3 variants: Instinct Crossover, Instinct Crossover Solar and Instinct Crossover Solar Tactical.

The watch will monitor the wearer’s health 24/7, as well as their physical activity. It has an ultra-resistant military-certified body and impresses with its autonomy that can reach 70 days or even more. We are dealing with a wearable hybrid, which comes with a minute hand, a physical clock, but also with a small screen with a diagonal of 0.9 inches and a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels. Withstands extreme temperatures and shocks, has MIL-STD-810 certification and water resistance up to 10 ATM.

It also has GPS tracking and multi-GNSS support, so you won’t get lost in the jungle too easily. It comes with ABC sensors and TracBack path, allowing you to go back to the path you came from so you don’t get lost on your travels. Another useful technology aboard this watch is RevoDrive. Automatically calibrates the clocks to show the correct time in the event of an important event. It also has Garmin Pay support, so you can contactless pay in stores and has all the classic sports and fitness features.

The solar versions promise something bold: “infinite range” in Battery Saver mode. Instinct Crossover offers 28 days of use in smartwqatch mode, while Solar models can go up to 70 days. These devices can monitor the level of oxygen saturation, but also VO2 Max. Also find out the recovery time after physical activity. The Garmin Instinct Crossover is available in two colors: Tidal Blue and Graphite and starts at $ 499.99, while the Solar version costs $ 549.99.
