From August 27, Garkalne post office will start working in new premises on Vidzeme highway 1d. According to VSIA “Latvijas pasts”, the new premises are located near the address of the previous department and are more comfortable for both visitors and employees, ensuring accessibility for customers with mobility impairments and new parents with prams.

The post office will have a different working time in the new premises, but due to relocation work at the current address, the working hours will also be changed on August 26.
From August 27, Garkalne Post Office will work in new premises on Vidzeme Highway 1d, providing postal services in a more pleasant environment with an updated assortment of goods. The new premises are easily accessible to all customers – including visitors with disabilities and young parents with prams.
Due to the relocation works, the opening hours of the Garkalne Post Office will be changed on August 26 – the branch will work at the current address on Vidzeme Highway 23 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Starting work in the new premises, from August 27, the Garkalne post office will have a different working hours – the post office will continue to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 am to 3 pm and on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 8 am to 6 pm.
Residents of Garkalne are informed about changes in the address and working hours of the post office with notifications in their mailboxes, and this information is also available in the existing premises of the post office, Latvijas Pasts points out.
