He was around 18 hours ce Wednesday, July 13, 2022when help was requested for a suspicious package in one of Lille’s two stations: the gare Lille Europe. 1000 people were evacuated.

This Wednesday evening, the alert is given: a suspicious package has been reported. It is therefore necessary to evacuate the Lille Europe station, filled with 1000 people.
It must be said that the schedule was badly chosen to forget his luggage: it was around 6 p.m. – “rush hour” – when the intervention of the emergency services was required. The station was therefore evacuated, and access to the metro also had to be blocked.
Finally, more fear than harm: the person who forgot his luggage came back to get his two suitcases before the intervention of the deminers.
