Gardermoen – Female passenger avoided security checks

A female airline passenger has been reported for violating the Civil Aviation Act after she got on board her plane without having been checked at the security checkpoint at Gardermoen, the Eastern police district informs Twitter.

The woman must have entered the “red” side – ie the area after the security check – by breaking open a door.

– Everyone on the plane had to go out for a new security check, the police write.

Line Haugland, press officer at Avinor, confirms the episode, which is now under investigation.

– Aviation safety was never in danger, and they had a good overview of the incident along the way, says Haugland – who will not go into detail about the method or other aspects, for the sake of the investigation.

– The aircraft was unloaded according to routines. There was never a need to evacuate more than the plane, she says.

The police write in an update that the relevant departure was to Ålesund – the plane took off without the woman.
