Garden Day comes to life in Prikulė – Gargždai

Garden Day participants will be busy in Priekule today.
In the premises of the “Priekulės ainiai” community, lectures will be given on nurturing the beauty of the environment, growing flowers, and sharing experiences on organic gardening. In the streets of the city, amateur florists and gardeners will offer plants and seeds, there will be a local fair, a place to exchange, give and sell plants.
After a break, Garden Day is coming back to life in Priekule, but in a different format. This year, the event “Neighbor – neighbor” will be attended and local speakers will share their experiences – amateur gardeners, flower lovers, nurturers of the beauty of the environment. Renata Padeginskienė from Dituviškė, who owns a lavender farm, will advise you on how to create your own paradise. The owner of one of the most beautiful homesteads in the district, Vida Majienė, a famous collector of dahlias, will tell you about flowers and how to manage the environment of the homestead. Artist Jolanta Rudaitienė will reveal the secrets of organic gardening.
“For the first time, we are holding such a Garden Day. Our goal is to bring the townspeople together on Saturday, to encourage them to leave their homes, see their neighbors and chat,” said Gitana Mizgerienė, chairperson of “Priekulės ainiai”.
