A man in his twenties was, according to our information, arrested Monday morning in a popular district of Nîmes concerning a fatal shooting last July in a Parisian bar.
It was the famous Paris crime squad that made the trip to the Gard. This morning at 6 a.m., the Parisian police arrested in a sensitive district of Nîmes, a man in his twenties. The investigators are in charge of investigations for “intentional homicide” on a man, and “attempted murder” on three other victims since last July.
Since July 19 in the evening precisely with a shooting that occurred in a shisha bar in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. A criminal operation, where a suspect with a Kalashnikov was neutralized quickly after the shooting. The alleged perpetrator was beaten up by customers, then taken over by the police and indicted in the process… He was 16 years old at the time of the events. The second suspect managed to flee by car, and he was still actively sought in recent days.
The investigation, entrusted to the Parisian judicial police, quickly rebounded in the Gard department, two days after the shooting in Paris. It was the Nîmes anti-crime brigade that managed to locate the car involved in the Parisian shooting by crisscrossing several sectors of the city. The Peugeot 308 searched for in Paris was found hidden in a cellar in the popular city of Pissevin, near the Wagner gallery… A district of Nîmes plagued by drug trafficking which is the subject of numerous settlings of accounts attempts.
The suspect’s car, which was not set on fire, was seized at the time by the Gard police for forensic surveys. It was as part of the search for possible accomplices that the man arrested this morning in Nîmes was placed in police custody. He is currently being questioned by investigators, without it being known at this stage his degree of involvement in the fatal shooting in Paris. Is he the accomplice or the simple driver of the car in which the shooter from the Parisian bar arrived? Or is he a witness of interest to the investigation….
