Since its reopening in early December 2021 in the showroom of Curbsat Nimes (Gard) the vaccination center, with a capacity of 850 daily vaccination slots, made it possible to support the vaccination strategy carried out against Covid-19. A sign of the times, it will definitely close its doors on February 28, 2022.
Nearly 250,000 injections in one year
245,000 injections were able to be carried out there in one year, with a rate that gradually slowed down, once a large number of people had completed a full vaccination course.
The closure of the vaccination center does not prevent the City from raising awareness in Nîmes of respect for barrier gestures and the application of health instructions, in particular with the presentation of the vaccination pass. Screening obviously remains important and necessary to fight against the virus.
Vaccination continues
Vaccination will therefore resume the ordinary circuit. Pharmacists, doctors, midwives, nurses… all liberal health professionals in Nîmes are mobilized to vaccinate in their medical offices and pharmacies.
The screening center remains open
the Costières screening center remains open. In January 2022, it carried out no less than 13,646 tests. 36.20% of them on average were positive.
