On the eve of the duel this Friday, at 6:00 p.m., at the Nelson Oyarzún Arenas de Chillán stadium, the Ñublense coach, Jaime García, confessed that his team cannot play away from home again because they must become strong at home.
“The stadium is an important part of what we have done during these four years. I have said it since November 5, when the stadium stopped, that it is an important part of this that cost us so much with the support of you (the press), the club and the people. We have to try to play one or two games here for the Copa Libertadores. That is the most important. And all the matches of the National Championship we have to make it feel like we’re playing at home, the people are very important in the campaign I’ve done. Playing in Chillán to a full stadium is not the same as going elsewhere, where the feeling is different, here you live, vibrate and feel five days before. Our stadium is valuable for the seasons to come”, underlined García, before highlighting the advantage of playing in Chillán.
“Hopefully we can play at home”
“I have always said that playing in Chillán allows us to be with our people, even financially because going out to play in Concepción for a family of four people costs more than 150,000 pesos, because you have to pay for transportation, tickets, food, tickets . So we should worry about those things and we should have worried on November 5, from there the concern should have started. The club sent the letter and now we are in the hands of Conmebol. Hopefully we can play at home, with our people so as not to be far from Chillán”, reflected García, who added that against Coquimbo Unido “the team will not play much”.
“I am not much of touching the team. Nor to invent, assuming that we have a reduced staff. Yes, I will try to get those who are better to play, although I will still try to make some changes to be able to face everything that is heavy ahead of us, ”he explained.
Garcia finally revealed that after various conversations with Sergio Gioino, reinforcements will arrive for the second semester.
“We have spoken on several occasions and we both want to take Ñublense up. I hope they arrive in time to be able to do something with them and work on them”, stated the Red’s coach
