Ganjar: The Result of the Suspected Monkeypox Examination is Negative

PCR test on suspected monkeypox in Central Java showed negative results

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID BOYOLALI – Governor of Central Java Pranowo reward disclose the results of an examination of a suspected patient monkey pox already out. The results of the examination stated that the person concerned was negative.

“Yesterday there was one indication, the PCR result was negative,” said Ganjar on the sidelines of a working visit in Boyolali Regency, Thursday (4/8/2022).

Nevertheless, the number one person in Central Java reminded the public to remain vigilant against monkeypox and continue to apply a healthy lifestyle in anticipating the disease. According to him, everyone who has symptoms similar to monkeypox should immediately undergo an examination as an anticipatory step.

“Everyone now if there are symptoms immediately check. That’s the most important thing,” said Ganjar.

Ganjar also instructed his staff to coordinate with relevant agencies including the Ministry of Health in anticipating the spread of monkeypox. The former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives also asked the central government to tighten access to Indonesia to prevent the spread of monkeypox which has appeared in several countries.

“We ask that because there must be outside influences, the entrance to Indonesia still needs to be tightened and tightened checking use a lot of equipment to be safe,” he said.
