FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The National Winning Team (TPN) Media Center was the choice of the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, to gather before attending the serial number drawing at the General Election Commission (KPU).
The Media Center for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD is located on Jalan Cemara, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
It is known that the KPU is scheduled to draw serial numbers for the presidential and vice presidential candidates on Tuesday evening.
The duet, which is supported by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), the United Development Party (PPP), the Hanura Party and the Perindo Party, visited the TPN Media Center before attending the process of drawing the serial numbers for the 2024 presidential election participants.
Mahfud arrived at the media center first. The figure from Madura wore a white shirt.
Meanwhile, Ganjar, who was wearing all black, arrived at the TPN Media Center a few moments after Mahfud. The arrival of Ganjar and Mahfud was welcomed directly by TPN Chairman Arsjad Rasjid and his deputy, Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) Muhammad Zainul Majdi.
As soon as he arrived at the TPN Media Center, Ganjar immediately asked for time to perform Maghrib prayers. The former governor of Central Java (Jateng) rushed to the bathroom.
“I take ablution first, yes,” said Ganjar to the media who were waiting for him.
After performing ablution, Ganjar and Mahfud were seen praying the Maghrib prayer together. TGB Zainul Majdi was the imam for the congregational Maghrib prayers.
Several party elites supporting Ganjar and Mahfud appeared to be part of the congregation during the congregational prayers held in the courtyard of the media center.
