The Governor of North Sulawesi, Olly Dondokambey, was also seen on the same stage as the two. At the moment on the same stage and next to each other, Ganjar and Nasaruddin seemed to be casually chatting with each other, they even laughed at each other.
“I spent the whole day in Manado, earlier I went to Tomohon to see the extraordinary friendliness of the people in North Sulawesi, and of course the culinary delights were also great, so this one day trip was really exciting and Prof. Nazar has explained how Manado North Sulawesi really shows a city full of tolerance And this is an investment that is not easy, which is important for us to take care of, which in the future will become our social capital, our political capital, our economic capital so that we can live peacefully in this place,” Ganjar said while giving a speech at the event.
As is known, Ganjar made a political visit to Manado, North Sulawesi, Thursday (18/5/2023). Ganjar held a meeting with PDIP cadres in North Sulawesi.
Nasaruddin Umar’s response was an arranged marriage with Ganjar
It is known that Nasaruddin Umar was listed as a candidate for vice president (cawapres) accompanying the PDIP presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo. Nasaruddin said he would perform the istikharah prayer first if he was offered the position of vice presidential candidate for Ganjar.
“When I usually make important decisions, I am istikharah first. I haven’t istikharah yet,” said Nasaruddin at the KPU RI office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday (19/5/2023).
Nasaruddin admitted that he had not been able to decide whether to accept or reject an offer to become Ganjar’s vice presidential candidate. He calls all decisions depending on his istikharah.
“I haven’t done istikharah yet. It depends on the outcome of the istikharah,” he said.
Even so, Nasaruddin admitted that he had met with Ganjar in Manado, Thursday (18/5). However, he said the meeting was only halal bi halal.
“No (discussing cawapres). So we are only halal bi halal,” he said.
Nasaruddin said he was also open if there were other presidential candidates who wanted to invite him. He said he would position himself as a servant of the people.
“Yes, I am a servant of the people. Whoever invites me. I am often invited to give lectures at churches, other places of worship, especially mosques, yes, for a religious leader it is obligatory to serve the people. You can’t refuse,” said Nasaruddin.
If unity is Indonesia’s greatest talisman, then tolerance is its essence.
Because from there we can get along and look at fellow human beings with love. And I’m sure that spirit is deeply embedded in our souls, including in the souls of our brothers and sisters in North Sulawesi… pic.twitter.com/laVh0ZXFqr
